It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rex Rolland Fischer M. D. (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Saint Edward, Nebraska, who passed away on November 22, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Fischer and Viola Fischer (Fitzsimons); his former wife Alice; and his siblings, Bernadine, Donafae, Joan, Cletus, Jerry and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie; his children, Joey (Susan), Ann (Mike White), Amy (Frank Moranz), Kenny and Kay (Beth); his stepchildren, Sara Daubert (Brad Ruddell) and Jill (Mike Johnson); his brothers, Jack Fischer and Pat Fischer; and his sister-in-law Betty Fischer. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions to the Manhattan Optimist Club, the Rock Springs 4-H Center, or a charity of your choice.
