Frank C Tracz wrote a sympathy message

“Ray was a gentle spirit, smiling face, caring man, and a friend to everyone. His passion for the K-State Marching Band and Drum Line helped many students achieve their dreams, as well as some great moments and memories when Ray was around the band. Ray lived his life in a way that is an example for us all. He will be sorely missed, but his memory and kind heart and soul will live forever in us all. We love you Ray, the drums and band will march on in your honor. Frank Tracz and the KSUMB”
