Erickson of Manhattan, Kansas, born in Akaska, South Dakota, who passed away on October 1, 2024 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hanson and Rose Hanson (Lapp); and her brothers, Jim Hanson and Dennis Hanson. She is survived by: her husband Donald Erickson; her daughters, Sara Erickson (Scott McClain) of Manhattan and Sonja Erickson (Rusty Monhollon) of Lawrence, Kansas; her brother Arlo Hanson (Marilyn) of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Connor, Calyssa McClain, Davis and Rachael Monhollon Erickson; and also, Richard and Daniel Monhollon.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Phyllis to First Lutheran Church in Manhattan.
