It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis J. Mentgen (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Anthony, Kansas, who passed away on December 29, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma S. Tonn (Scheel) and Gilbert M. Tonn; and her brother Ray Tonn. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Mentgen of Manhattan, KS; and her sisters, Lanora Waggoner (Alan) of Hutchinson, KS and Valetta Snell (Allen) of Fairfield, OH. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and friends.

Memorials in her name may be donated to the Alzheimer's Association, Seven Dolors Catholic Church or the Meadowlark Parkinson's Program.
