Nova Cragg Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Nova Cragg of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 89, on December 4, 2024. Though Nova may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nova touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Lewis Spencer (Janice), Shirley Howard (Joe) and Barbara Cragg (John). She is survived by: her children, Nova Nickerson (Roger) of Wamego, Jane Scruggs (David) of Wamego and Wynn Cragg of Manhattan; and her pets, Coco, Dew and Ruby. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home (1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery (2050 Pleasant Valley Rd, Manhattan, KS 66502).
