With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelda Hamilton of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on June 6, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Johnson and Clara Johnson; her former husband Hue Hamilton (Rusty); and her children, Danny Hamilton, Nancy Larson (Harvey) and Christine Blausett.
She is survived by: her children, Sidney Hamilton of Manhattan, KS, Jennifer Lentz (Mike) of Junction City, KS, Laura Knisley (Art) of Olsburg, KS, Ernest "Sam" Hamilton (Joani Davy) of Alma, KS, Sarah Hamilton (Brian Utton) of Manhattan, KS and Thomas Gourley (Gloria) of Neosha, MO.; and her siblings, Marjorie Hale, Arlene Kittrell, Bonnie Brown and A. Dwight Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, the Royal Family Kids Camp of Manhattan, or the Good Shepherd Hospice House.
