He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Ray and Dora Marie Grimm. He is survived by: his spouse Ruthellyn Henderson of Corning; his children, Michael Edward of Manhattan, Lynnellyn Ann (Andy Medina), Dalton, Camryn of Olathe, Matthew Aaron of Pittsburg and Joshua Phillip of Lawrence; his siblings, Ron Hinton, Wanda Goodson and Gordon Hinton; and also, Judy Johnson, Carl Goodson and Sally Hinton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ed Hinton's name in support of the University of Iowa English Department or KU English Department.
