It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Martha Ann Olson of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 97, on December 13, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Henry and Helen Baschen (Kirby); her husband Dr. Jay Richard Olson; her son Mark Allen Olson; and her siblings, Bill Baschen, Helen Ingvoldstad and Susan Reising.

She is survived by: her children, Beth Novotny (Matt) of Pratt, KS, John Olson of Wichita and Dan Olson (Chris) of Wamego; her grandsons, Willie, Joe, Jon, Steven Novotny, Cooper, Nick, Carter and Jay Olson; and her brother-in-law Bob Reising of Momence, IL.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas State University Foundation for the Dr. J.R. Olson Scholarship Fund.
