He was predeceased by: his parents, Saleh Mahdi and Shirley Mae Samarrai (Howard); and his sister Marianne Rickenbaker. He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Flanary of Manhattan, Amanda Ryker of White City, KS and Nicole Aguilar of Flowery Branch, GA; and his siblings, Paul Samarrai of Overland Park, KS, Charles Samarrai of Manhattan and Sharon Sandata of Quivira, KS. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial contributions may be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Warrior Guiding Warriors or the American Diabetes Association.
