With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn J. Shortt (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Westmoreland, Kansas, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn J. Shortt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis N. Tibbetts and Eunice Tibbetts (Adams); her husband Jim Shortt; and her siblings, Dorris Farrell, Shirley Stockman, Martin Tibbetts and Richard Tibbetts.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve of Manhattan, KS and Russell (Aimee DeSett) of Leawood, KS; her sister Pamela Tineo of Mandan, ND; her sister-in-law Carol Tibbetts; and also Marilyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be given to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
