She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lucas Nickols and Nettie Marie Nickols (Hutchison); her husband Bruce Dimmitt; and her brothers, Elwin (Susan) and Calvin Nickols (Barbara).
She is survived by: her brothers, Sam Nickols (Sharon) and David Nickols (Lois); her children, Shari Hughes (Dimmitt) of Arlington, Virginia, Andy Dimmitt of Abilene and Debby Ponton (Greg) of Manchester, Kansas.; her grandsons, Daniel, James (Amanda) and Michael Hughes (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Jaspreet, Ophelia, David, Erik Hughes and Colette Hughes.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Marilyn to the Shiloh Ranch Ministries in Solomon, Kansas.
