It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malcolm Sherrod Shaffer (Manhattan, Kansas), who passed away on January 25, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bayard A. Shaffer and Nadine Shaffer (Sherrod); his wife Janice; his children, Cynthia Shelden (Stan) of Wichita and Doug Shaffer (Sonja) of Kansas City, Missouri; and his granddaughters, Rachel Spare (Andrew) of Wichita, Amy Shelden of Wichita, Stephanie Shelden of Wichita, Jane Shelden of Wichita, Susan Shelden of Wichita, Isobel Shaffer and Eliza Shaffer of Kansas City.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Butler Community College Foundation/Shaffer Family Scholarship.
