He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey Bates and Olive Bates (Stratton); his wife Gyll C. Floding (Floding); his brother Duane Bates (Sandy); his children, Tammy (Chris), Heidi (Damian), Kerri (Matt) and Mindy (Dryden); and his brother Darko Tepavcevic.
