He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schurle and Fannie Schurle (Schwab); his wife Shirley Rose Russell; his brother Charles Schurle; his grandson Christopher Schurle; and his brother-in-law David Murphy.
He is survived by: his sons, DeWayne Schurle (Julie) of Manhattan, David Schurle of Riley, Darrell Schurle (Lisa) of Manhattan and Jamie Schurle of Colorado; his siblings, Angela Murphy, Robert Schurle (Lilia), Stan Schurle (Betty) and Fred Schurle (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Judy Schurle. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Sedalia Community Church and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
