He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Jones (Jeeter) and Leslie Lloyd Scott; and his daughter Ashley Chatfield. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Jones (Evans); his sons, Cornel Evans Jones (Salina), Regan Jones of Pompano Beach, FL and Leslie Jones Jr. of Manhattan; his sisters, Marvine Jones-Nephew and Renavay Chatfield of Manhattan; and his grandchildren, Marquise Adams, Aiyana Lynch and Donita Jones.
