We bid farewell to Kathy Boydston of Manhattan, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 15, 2025 at the age of 68. Kathy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Helm and Georgia Helm (Holmes) of Hutchinson, KS.; and her son Benjamin James. She is survived by: her husband Bud of Manhattan, KS; her son Christopher Boydston (Victoria); her sister Debbie Nininger (Jerry); and her nieces and nephews, Clifford Nininger (Lacey), Jesse Nininger (Rebecca), Barett Vawter (Brookelyn) of Dallas, TX, Brandt Vawter (Amber) of Oklahoma City, OK, Katy Nininger, Anna Nininger, Lisa Duncan (Travis) and Gretchen Brandt (Matthew).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home (1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to KU Endowment, 3901 Rainbow Boulevard, Mail Stop 3012, Kansas City, KS 66160, to benefit Pancreatic Cancer Research at the University of Kansas Cancer Center. Online contributions may be made at http://www.kuendowment.org.
