She is survived by: her husband Mark Appel; her sons, Paul Appel (Emma Reicks) of Grand Junction and Zach Appel (Jenna) of Billings, Montana; her siblings, Susan Cameron, Karen Lewallen (Bruce) of Bisbee, Stephen Burkholder (Tina) of McPherson and Kevin Burkholder (Kathy Hinders) of Superior, Wisconsin.; and her grandchildren, Gwen, Emersyn and Grayson.
