She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter A. Cordts and Edith M. Cordts (Harrell); her husband Robert "Bob" O'Neill; her daughter Patricia O'Neill Hefner; her stepparents, Ruth Cordts and Charles Bietry; and her siblings, Walter "Sonny" Cordts, June Myer, Jean Cordts, Annabel Dohrman and Mary Ann Mueller.

She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Jo O'Neill (Larry Aschermann) of Carthage and Pamala O'Neill (T. C. Griffay) of Manhattan; her son-in-law James Hefner of Thornton, Colorado; her sister Margery Baresel of Kansas City, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Mike Samuelson (Lora) of Carthage, Dane Floberg (Pam) of Stanley, Chad Hefner of Thornton, Colorado and Brook Gomez of Carthage, Missouri. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
