It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of June Johns in Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Whitfield and Ocie Mae Wheless (Morris); her husband James Lincoln Johns; her siblings, Raymond, Hugh, Kathleen, Clarice, Olee and Ruth; her daughter Susan Weaver; and her grandson Keith Glover.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Glover of Grand Junction, CO, Peggy Johns (Marian Tilford) and Joseph Johns (Sharon); her son-in-law Tracy Weaver of Manhattan, KS; her grandchildren, Brad, Ben, Clint (Samantha), Sam (Teresa), Robyn, John, Jim and Abigail; and her great grandchildren, Samuel, Avery, Tucker, Cooper, Maisie and Morrison. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Riley County Humane Society.
