It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Lindholm (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on January 10, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nora Anne (Borror) and Ernest Cyril Lindholm; his wife Mildred Ruth Socolofsky; his children, Martha Milleson (Michael) of Leavenworth, Susan Harrington (John) of Leavenworth, John Lindholm (Debra) and Barbara Angell (Randall); his siblings, Leonard Lindholm of Mulvane, Kansas, Charley Lindholm (June) of Ada, Oklahoma, Norman Lindholm of Willard, Ohio, Elenore Claribel "Lindy" Hurd of Alamogordo and Beverly Anne Severns (Virgil) of Fairbanks, Ala; and his grandchildren, Adam Harrington (Thao) of Glastonbury, Connecticut, John Michael Ludwig (Erin) of Wichita, Kansas, Valerye Milleson of Fairfax, Virginia and Caryn Smith (David) of Shawnee. He was also cherished by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the John and Mildred Lindholm Scholarship Fund at KSU or to the First United Methodist Church.
