He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Keith and Ruth Dawson (Sterling); his brother Ralph; his sister-in-law Jeanne; his niece Nancy Cassidy (Dawson); and his brother-in-law Lloyd Noble.
He is survived by: his wife Donna LaFae Moore; his daughters, Debbie Smith (Terry) of Manhattan, KS, Sherry Brown (Dan) of Abilene, KS and Angie Fairbanks (Mark) of Topeka, KS; his grandchildren, Rusty Smith (Melissa) of Onaga, KS, Anthony Brown (Amanda) and Amber Brown of Abilene, KS; his great grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Kassidy Smith, Donald Brown, Ethan Brown and Isabella Brown; and his sister Jean Noble. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home (1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Jimmie be made to the Blue Valley Memorial United Methodist Church or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
