He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Archer and Faye Whitney (Fairbanks); his wife Alice Marie Tyler (Babe); and his brothers, Francis, Glenn, Steven and Bob.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Whitney of Manhattan, Richard Stewart (Wanda) of Lancaster, SC, Clyde Whitney (Cindy), Albert Gagnon (Lori) of El Dorado, KS and Brenda Moss. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Lung Association in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.
