She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Mailen and Mary Frances Mailen (Smith); and her sister Shirley Ann Kimball. She is survived by: her siblings, Edward Mailen of Haslet, Texas., Charlotte Vasseur of Manhattan, Kansas. and Mary Jane Patterson (Mailen) of Denver. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
