He is survived by: his children, Jesse Ray Smith of Hutchinson, KS, Amy Haselhorst (Nate) of Wamego, Kristy Stadler (Nate Severson) of St. George and Joseph Stadler of Scottsdale, AZ; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Logan, Hadley, Alyssa, Sophia, Emlyn and Maverik; and his siblings, Monica Houston (Billy) of Hutchinson, George Smith of Manhattan, John Smith (Connie) of Manhattan, Terry Smith (Debbie) of Manhattan, Rosalie Lyttle (Jon) of Marshall, IL and Denis Smith of Manhattan.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Research Fund at the Kansas State University Foundation.
