He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Phipps (Blaine) and Clifford Phipps. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Phipps; his children, Laura Clark of Dell Rapids, Lisa Magnuson of Baltic, Kevin Phipps of Sioux Falls and Cory Phipps of Palm Springs, California; and his stepdaughter Debbie Hensche of Appleton, Wisconsin.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
