He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Kirk (Thompson) and Ernest Kirk; his former wife Loretta H. Kirk; and his son Brett S. Kirk. He is survived by: his former wife Loretta Helen Freed; his wife Sharon E. Kirk; his children, Lynn D. Kirk, Kim S. Kirk and Lisa J. Powers (Chris); his stepson Shannon D. McCollum (Laurie); his brother Alan D. Kirk (Erna Reye) of Scandia, KS.; his grandchildren, Kyle A. Powers (Mallory), Brady K. Billings (Rachel), Kysa M. Farrant (Jake), Scott R. Kirk, Shawna R. Kirk and Shane A. McCollum (Topeka); and his great grandchildren, Millie, Maxton, Beau Farrant, Kasold and Huxley Powers. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
