It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys L. Sedam of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Graves and Bertha Graves (Popejoy); her children, Fred Sedam, Marjorie Ann Sedam and Jean Lake; and her siblings, Lois Lewis, Evelyn Reece and William R. Graves.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Fritzson (Orlin) of Randolph and Roy D. Sedam; and her sisters, Alice Persyn and Bernis Parker. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home (1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Gladys to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, or the Big Lakes Developmental Center.
