He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Genevieve (Gould) and Russell Corbin Witmer; and his sister Mary Williams. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Witmer; his children, Melinda McCoy (Jim) of St. George, KS, Mary Stevenson (Kenneth) of St. George, KS, Gary Lee Witmer Jr. of Carthage, MO and Mike S. Witmer of Manhattan, KS; and his sisters, Shirley Steele of Joplin, MO and Norma Hankins of Tulsa, OK.. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren.
