Ernie D. Barrett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernie D. Barrett (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Pratt, Kansas, who passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Walker and Ruby Kate; and his son Duane. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie of Manhattan; his son Brad of Manhattan; and his grandson Ryan (Lauren).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a memorial for Barrett that has been established at the Kansas State University Foundation with donations benefitting the Ernie and Bonnie Barrett Family Men's Basketball Scholarship.
