It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest J Welti (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Tolland, Connecticut, who passed away on August 3, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Welti and Minnie Welti (Wuthrich); his wife Alice; and his siblings-in-law, Roland Clayton Andrews, Paul Pulfer, Linwood Burt and Vera Burt.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Alice Ruth Burt; his siblings, Clarence Welti (Kathi) of Manchester, Marion Andrews of Rockville and Evelyn Pulfer of Iowa; his daughters, Ruth Welti of Manhattan and Laura Welti (Leon Kraut) of Freeport; and his grandchildren, Carl Fruehan, Elizabeth Fruehan, Ellen Welti and Lia Welti. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Interment in Ellington Cemetery and a service are postponed due to Covid-19.
