It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine T. Carter of Manhattan, Kansas, born in Salina, Kansas, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Justice Carter; her pets, Pancake and Rosie; and her brother Mark. She is survived by: her husband Matthew Carter; her daughter Cierra Milleson (Nicholas Schmidt); her mother Mali Tankard (Khammone Bounsombat); her siblings, Tyran Tankard (Kristin Tankard), Tony Bounsombat and Donna Subongkosh (Bes Subongkosh); her nieces and nephews, Kamden, Kylen and Brynlee Tankard; her adoptive father Ronald Tankard; and her stepdaughter Cady Carter.

Memorials to Salina Animal Services, as she loved dogs or the Lupus Foundation of America, lupus.org, because that was one of her many battles in life.
