He was predeceased by: his parents, E. C. Lindly and Hattie Jane Lindly (Vaden). He is survived by: his children, Kirk Lindly of Manhattan, Jay Lindly of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Ruth Lindly of San Antonio, Texas; and his granddaughters, Beth Lindly of Birmingham, Annie Maropis of San Antonio, Grace Lindly of Northport and Tessa Maropis of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania..
