It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Rickel of Manhattan, Kansas, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on June 3, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Rickel, Sr. and Justina Bell Rickel (McHugh); and his siblings, Mary Ann Snook and Bob. He is survived by: his wife Teresa "Tess" Carbajal; his children, Alan Rickel of Manhattan, Monica Rickel of Manhattan, Teresa McMillin (Mark) of Manhattan and Melissa Rickel-Morrill (Scott) of Manhattan; and his siblings, Barbara Ensley of Manhattan and Mike Gear of Topeka, Kansas.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
