He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Sempf and Augusta Sempf (Meister); his spouse Jean Lillian Ellis; his daughters, Christine Fletcher (Joe Fletcher) and Anne Byford (David Byford); his grandchildren, Matthew Byford (Rachel Byford) and Barbara Jean Zhao (Yang Zhao); and his great grandchild Benjamin (Liam Zhao).
