He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl V. Gritton, Sr. and Abbie Mae Gritton (Thompson); and his siblings, Charles F. Gritton and Helen Forrest. He is survived by: his wife Lois Joleen Carmichael; his children, Karla Brockman (Michael) of Kansas City, MO, Vicki Shank (Cliff) of Hutchinson, KS, Susan Skipwith (Steve) of Greenville, SC, Joe Gritton (Heather) of Manhattan and Christy Gritton of San Francisco, CA; and his grandchildren, Melanie Fender (Todd), Karissa Brockman, Chris Shank (Jessica), Stefanie Kim (Kenny), Jon Shank (Sandra Nazz), Spencer Lodge, Cole and Casey Gritton.
