She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Ida Thomas. She is survived by: her former husband Arthur B. Fridinger, Jr.; her husband Edwin Nelmes; her sister Shirley J. Hyde-Luna (Baltazar Luna) of Garden City; her stepchildren, Ted, Ethel Nelmes, Pamela Merlin and Beverly Nelmes; her niece Cindy Unger of Garden City; and her nephews, James Lehr of Portland, ME and John Lehr of Junction City. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren and great nieces and great nephews.
