He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay and Cora Rathbone; his wife Lynne; and his siblings, Wallace (Laura), Kenneth (Mary Ann) and Lois Rathbone.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynda Rathbone; and his nieces, Teri Rathbone, Carol Waagmeester, Patty Lamb, Joanne Clyde and Susan McFarlane.
