David Weston Mitchell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Weston Mitchell (Manhattan, Kansas), who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though David Weston has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He is survived by: his daughters, Natalie Barbee (Mark) of Topeka and Elizabeth Irby (Bret) of Liberal, Kansas; his sisters, Judy Greenwood (Larry) of Salina and Mary Minturn (Brian) of Denver, Colorado.; and his grandchildren, Myrna, Kyle, Mitchell and Rebecca.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home (1317 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
