It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles William Frank Havlicek of Manhattan, Kansas, born in Pawnee City, Nebraska, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Helen Havlicek (Jacoby) and Charles Havlicek. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Ostergard; his daughters, Becci Woods (Seth) of Apex, NC and Christina Denton (Greg) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Zach Golonka, Ty Golonka, Harper Woods, Henry Denton and Vivian Denton; and his brothers, Andy Havlicek (Sue) of McCook, NE and Jon Havlicek (Donna) of Mertztown, PA.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the College Avenue United Methodist Church, The Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, or The Kansas 4-H Foundation.
