It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles T. Brooks Sr. (Manhattan, Kansas), born in Panther, West Virginia, who passed away on October 11, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Brooks (Lilly) and Donnie Brooks; his former wife Shirley Brooks (Gibbs); his wife Barbara Brooks (Askew); and his siblings, Louise Haynes and John Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Brooks of McDonough Georgia, Charles Brooks Jr. (Beth) and Nathan Brooks (Erin) of Manhattan, KS; and his sisters, Laura Beach (Frank) of Gent, KY and Lilly Herring of Seneca. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
