With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carrol Whisnant of Manhattan, Kansas, whose life came to an end on October 2, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alda Sarah (Conrow) and Carrol James Whisnant, Sr.; and his sister Geraldine Whisnant Livers (Steinke). He is survived by: his friend Junior; his wife Margaret Eve Steinke (Margie); his children, Rita Whisnant Cassida (John), Rodney Thomas Whisnant (Amerin) and Carrol James Whisnant, III (Kristen); his grandchildren, Calvin James Cassida, Katherine Elizabeth Cassida Rizza (Alan Zachary), Brock Thachil Whisnant, Eve Kerala Whisnant, Axel Zain Whisnant, Carrol James Whisnant, IV and Abbey Blair Whisnant; and his great grandchild Theodore Andrew Rizza (Theo).
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (700 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (5001 NE Cookingham Dr, Kansas City, MO 64156).
