Carolyn L. Meares Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Nicholas and Kathryn Audra Haag (Scott); her husband Stanley Holt Meares; her brothers, LeRoy Haag (Vickie), Edwin "Ed" Haag (Barbara) and Larry Haag; and her brother-in-law Dan Leary.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Meares (Mimi) of Lee's Summit, MO, Jana Meares of Santa Cruz, CA, Jeffrey Meares (Julie) of Muncie, IN and Laurie Hertel (Chris) of Topeka, KS; her siblings, Deloris "Dee" Leary of Emporia, KS and Marvin "Mike" Haag (Linda) of Emporia, KS; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Shult of Santa Cruz, Kameron Hertel (Samantha) of Indian Trail, NC, Elizabeth Meares, Nathan Meares (Jennifer) of Emporia, KS and Kyle Meares (Melissa) of Lebanon, TN. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to either Crestview Christian Church or the American Heart Association.
