He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Meyer and Waunita Meyer (Kientz); his sisters, Lou Ann and Karen; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Doug (Melissa); his brother-in-law Jim Loebeck; his stepson Grant Moyer (Elizabeth); his grandsons, Alex (Michelle), Andrew (Melissa), Carter Moyer and Tyler Moyer; and his great grandchildren, Braden, Lincoln, Rylee, Michael and Laura.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home (1616 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunrise Cemetery (2901 Stagg Hill Rd, Manhattan, KS 66502).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Carl to the First United Methodist Church, Interim Hospice, or the Alzheimer's Association.
