He was predeceased by: his parents, William Spellman and Alice Spellman (VanGoethem). He is survived by: his wife Julie Spellman (Brunner); his sons, Jason Spellman (Renee) of Paxico and Joe Spellman of Lawrence; his grandchildren, Dillon (Shay), Grace, Austin, Aspen and Taylen; his brothers, Brian Spellman (Mary Sue) of Wexford, PA and Gary Spellman of Charlotte, NC; and his sister-in-law Jean Wilson (Chuck). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
