He was predeceased by: his former wife Jean Ewing Smith; and his son Bill Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Jan Smith Langton (Scott); his sister Betty Jean Fuller; his daughter-in-law Diana Smith; and his stepson John Musselman (Alice). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.
