It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beverly Joan Pelfrey of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James A. Pelfrey; her parents, Rosetta Irena Neal (Starr) and Wilbur M. Neal; her siblings, Jerome Neal and Janet Estes; and her granddaughter Emily Glessner.

She is survived by: her son Darin Pelfrey (Roxie) of Manhattan; her granddaughter Brenda Glessner (Robert) of Texas; her brothers, Thomas Neal (Norma) and Patrick Neal of Junction City; her grandchildren, Morgan Marx of Texas and Matthew Glessner of Florida; and her great grandchild Dylan Marx.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or the Junction City Animal Shelter, 2424 N. Jackson Street, Junction City, Kansas 66441.
