She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Say and Mildredth Say; her son Ron Niemeier; and her sisters, Helen Thompson and Verla McMillan.
She is survived by: her former spouses, Joe Swinney and Dean Niemeier; her husband Clifford Walters; her son Todd Niemeier (Rhonda) of Blue Rapids, Kansas; her stepchildren, Jeff Walters (Jennifer) of Manhattan and Gail Dennis (Danny) of Pueblo, Colorado; her stepgrandchildren, Jessica Toland, Jake, Kelly Walters, Jason, Steve and Aaron Sawyer; and her sister-in-law Joan Heim of Leesburg. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial donations in Betty's memory to the Ashland Community Church may be sent to the church or the Carlson's Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation.
