It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Rivers of Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph D. Rivers and Charlotte Rivers (Schleicher); his former wife Elvera Olson; and his sister Ann Brasch (Rivers). He is survived by: his children, Douglas Rivers (Christine) of Shoal Creek, AL and Carole Johnson (Eric) of Concordia, KS.; his wife Minnie Barber (Mickey); his son Doug; and his grandchildren, Brianna and Andrew Johnson of Manhattan.
