He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mebane and Bertha Mae Mebane (Gillim); and his siblings, Edward Mebane, Walter Mebane Jr. and Angela Mebane-Foust.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Holcomb; his sister Brenda Anderson of Durham; and his niece Toyia Elstak. He is also survived by his other nephews, family members and many friends and neighbors.
