He is survived by: his children, Angela Portz (Ted Point) of Nampa, ID, Diana McElwain (Scott) of Manhattan, KS, Scott Portz (Elisa) of Independence, MO, Kit Portz (Lisa) of St. George, KS, Douglas Atchison of Citra, FL and Chip Portz (Tina) of Odessa, MO; and his siblings, MaDonna Bailey of Mahomet, IL, Carol Atchison of Lake City, FL, Joann Barone of Loudon, TN., Arthur "Bud" Atchison of Lady Lake, FL and Roger Atchison of Mansfield, IL. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
